A Sounding: St. Ann’s Reimagined

Théâtre Nulle Part and some thoughts on performance and «architecture parlante»
While the history and narratives of space have the capacity to feed the creative process – becoming materials for the creation of a performance – the history of spaces also engender stories that speak of and through the existing built environment. This is the power and affect of sites like Le Dalhousie. It is in this sense that architecture reveals its agency and ability to communicate or “talk”, as well as its potential for collaborating in the creation and production of community through site specific performance.
